Bear hunts
Bear hunting with hounds is even more fast-paced than a lion hunt and often requires more dogs. Bears have the ability to run all day, so we are often packing in more dogs throughout the race to assure we have the power to make the bear go up a tree. This adds an extra layer of excitement and challenge, as the coordination and endurance of both the hounds and hunters are put to the test.
Here in southern Utah, we have some of the most beautiful, color-phased bears ranging from blond and cinnamon to jet black. It is always an adrenaline rush walking up to all the hounds under a giant bear, wondering what color it might be. The diversity and beauty of these bears make each hunt unique and visually stunning, providing memorable moments and incredible photo opportunities.
If you have never hunted bears with hounds, it is one of the most fun hunts you can share with friends and family. The camaraderie built during the hunt, combined with the sheer thrill of the chase, creates a bonding experience like no other. Our expert guides ensure that everyone, from seasoned hunters to newcomers, can fully engage and enjoy the hunt. Safety and success are our top priorities, and we take great pride in delivering an unforgettable adventure.
Additionally, our hunts take place in some of the most scenic landscapes of southern Utah. The rugged terrain offers a breathtaking backdrop to your hunting experience.
